First Post Ever!

Well, this has taken me a while to put together, but I finaly have put together a blog about my personal glazing experiences. I have been working with potery over the duration of two summers at the Baum School of Art in Allentown, PA. I developed an interest in making glazes as I was bored with the mundane commercial glazes at my disposal. So, during the first summer I developed one glaze test, a cobalt blue, though hideous, I decided to push on and attempt glaze manufacture over the next summer. Well A school year later, I began to again mix tests. The first batch turned out to be even nastier than the previous summer. However, undiscouraged I continued to mix tests and develop a better understanding of glazing and glaze manufacture. So, having finaly produced worthwhile tests, I have decided to share what I have tried and learn about what I haven't. So I look forward to your input and discussion as my future readers.
